Soon we shall start!

No worries, I’m still here.. The days are passing by and I shall be starting my uni this Monday. Tomorrow will be my last day here in Eskilstuna *sad music* and I will be moving in next Friday.. As I said before, the first three days they will send me away for summer camp/introduction thing, and then, the very next day, everything will start...

Right now I’m trying to get a charge/VISA card. Handelsbanken wants me to pay for it, so I’m changing to SEB (another bank), which is kind of interesting since there is a handelsbanken like 100m outside my new student apartment.

I also got my new KI e-mail.. If you ask, you might (note: might) get it.

Ciao

Lost

Yea, so I went to the registration… Well, actually, first I couldn’t find my way around so I got lost and walked around the campus area for about 30 minutes and then I found out where I was supposed to go..

It was good, first they just checked ID and so, and then an older student had a run-through about what would happen these first weeks and so. I was being plagued by some kind of a sore on the inside of my cheek so every second I was there was torture for me, but that is another story..

Afterwards they took a picture of all future students to give us special ID cards and I tried my best not to look like a terrorist.

They also had a study counsellor there who gave us some useful information but since she spoke some kind of a Swedish-Finnish hybrid I didn’t understand everyting.

Prison Break + more

Going to Stockholm tomorrow and will be there until Monday.. Got a few things to take care of, one of them being an obligatory “doctor registration”. That’s basically so that they know that I am really going to study there etc etc… They also want a picture from me, but the last time I took a “serious picture (=portrait or something)” was back in ’99… hmm..

In other news, I just saw “Prison Break – season 1”.

What to say? It was really good. I really haven’t had time to watch any series, like Prison Break, Lost etc etc.. But now I had the chance to see one and I was surprised!... in a positive way of course..

Season 2 is about to start, so I guess I have to find a way to see the new episodes as well. Video: an OZ intro to prison break..

IKEA?

I was there again yesterday to inspect my apartment. This time I was there with my parents. The guy wore clothes this time and my parents thought the place was very good. Now all that is left is to actually put some furniture in there. A trip to IKEA maybe?

Now, the apartment needs to be fixed before I get the keys. The guy who lives there now is obliged to clean up, but you never know.. The wallpaper was for example crap with spots and stains here and there..

Things close to apartment:
1. Shabby place to rent movies.
2. Vivo – supermarket.
3. Handelsbanken (bank).
4. Canon and HP offices.
5. Pizza place.
6. Sushi place.
7. Greek food.

No news...

Nothing new, might be going to Stockholm this weekend to have a closer look at my apartment.

Quote of the day (from Channel4.com):

Di Canio is selfish
Former Lazio striker Paolo Di Canio was too ‘selfish to be a great pro’ according to Chelsea ace Frank Lampard. “Di Canio was very professional, although I can't say I agreed with everything he did,” said the England international. “Everything had to be right for him - even if it was wrong for everyone else. For instance, it would annoy me when he would go back to Italy for two weeks' rehabilitation when he was injured. There were times when we would be training, usually when it was freezing cold and #¤%/&¤ down with rain, when I would wonder where Paolo was. He would often return on a Thursday with news he was ready to play on Saturday. He looked after himself, but was too selfish to be a great pro.”

Now, Paolo Di Canio may be a bald, bigmouthed, mentally unstable fascist who sometimes irritates people (me included), but Franky joonam, Di Canio has accomplished something you never will be able to even dream of.

Good night.

Got it!

Got the apartment!

Will be moving in september first. Contract has been signed and everything is as good as it could be. Except the fact that they want 300 SEK for the broadband entrance-stake (right word?)

In other news, been painting the house today. Tired. I might be going to Stockholm again tomorrow to sort out further details.
