Stench of Love

I went to see the apartment today. I really didn’t expect that he would be home, just wanted to see the area, but I decided to see if he was home or not before I did anything else. And so, I knocked on the door. Male, 26-27 years old, wearing t-shirt and underpants, answers the door.

“uh..?”
“Hi, I’m here to see the apartment bla bla I’m going to move in here in a month or so…”
“oh… ok… here, come in..”

THE STENCH THAT REACHED MY NOSTRILS WAS THE STENCH OF SOMETHING I CANNOT DESCRIBE

Now this guy had just finished his Master of Engineering education thing and was currently unemployed. He was sitting, among unwashed dishes and dirty, smelly clothes of every colour (mostly brown) and playing World of Warcraft (computer game) on a Monday at about 1 pm.

Apart from that, it was really nice. Hopefully the contract will be signed tomorrow.

Going on monday

Probably going to stockholm to see the place on Monday, even if the guy isn't home. At least i'll see the area and where i will be spending the next couple of years. I'll be going alone, so give me a call if you want to join.

Nothing new today. Still can’t contact the guy who owns the apartment. Good bbq last night.

No answer.

The guy who owned the apartment never answered, so I couldn’t go today. I’m going to try all weekend and hopefully he will answer before Monday (when I have to sign contract). I

also found some interesting statistics regarding the KI (Karolinska Institute) and their medical education. Apparently, they only accepted 31 students by looking at their high school marks/grades. 771 of the applicants had 20.0 (highest mark), which means that the chance of seeing me there next term was about 4%. I feel very lucky indeed.

In other news, I’m going barbecue tonight with some of my friends.

Phone number?

So, I might be going to Stockholm tomorrow to see the apartment.
I have the phone number and everything to the guy who lives there now, but every time I call his cellphone is turned off… So as you probably understand, I have to contact him in order to see the apartment. If I get the place, I’ll get the keys by September first.

In other news, nothing has happened.

New apartment?

I think I have found my future apartment. It’s basically just a room, 24 square meters in Solna (close to Stockholm). However nothing is settled yet, so I just have to wait and see. The rents are really high in ze capital, so I won’t be having much cash left to spend. Oh, i also have to learn how to cook.

My Life

Well, i thought it would be a good idea to explain to you all what i am doing right now.. I recently found out that i would start med school next term, so i have been looking for apartments and stuff in Stockholm. It's kinda difficult to find one as a student ( = find a good and affordable one), but it'll work out.

In the mean time, i'm doing nothing.. reading books, writing e-mails and stuff.. Just waiting, uni starts august 28.

Well, that's it for now.

Well, as you all know i used to have an old blog with the same address (saminos.blogspot.com). However, it died. Now, it has emerged from the ashes of boredom and irregularity. Ladies and Gentlemen, I have the honour of presenting my new blog: Il Dottore.
